Get involved with the Borders Exploration Group

The Borders Exploration Group is the only organisation of it's type in Scotland and as such it presents a unique opportunity for young people and adult leaders. BEG has lots to offer it's members both locally and internationally and BEG are always looking for new members with an interest in working with Borders young people, travelling or the outdoors. All current and prospective members are welcome to attend Borders Exploration Group meetings which are held approximately every six weeks (more details can be found on the BEG calendar).

Membership of Borders Exploration Group entitles you to the following things:

• The Borders Exploration Group newsletter, which keeps you informed with all that is going on in the organisation - both overseas expeditions and UK based projects.
• Information on local courses, talks, activity weekends and adult and youth challenge days.
• Meeting minutes

Currently fees are as follows:
Adult membership: £10
Family membership: £15
Associate membership: £5

(Anyone who has attended more than three Borders Exploration Group events in one year must then become an associate or full member.)
