BEG was founded in 1991 and aims to promote social, environmental and cultural development of young people from the Scottish Borders through International expeditions and UK-based activities. To do this it relies on the support of an army of talented and enthusiastic local volunteers and we'd love you to join the ranks.

• Free entry to varied programme of events, activities and presentations
• As a member you will be entitled to discounted offers at a range of local establishments and facilites
• You'll get a membership card to prove your entitlement
• Regular newsletter to keep you up to date with BEG activities
• Some mini BEG business cards to help spread the word
• And all for only £10 a year! (£5 for Junior Membership!!)

Full details of members events and discounts will be included in the membership pack, however highlights include wild food foraging sessions, rock climbing, walks, talks and money saving offers on kit, leisure, recreation and more...
