BEG was founded in 1991 and aims to promote social, environmental and cultural development of young people from the Scottish Borders through International expeditions and UK-based activities. To do this it relies on the support of an army of talented and enthusiastic local volunteers and we'd love you to join the ranks.

BEG has achieved an amazing amount since it was founded in 1991, and your continued support will help it to go on and achieve even more in the future.
Joining is quick and easy – all you have to do is complete the membership form [PDF/DOC] and return it to Nicola Stillie, 22A West Port, Selkirk, TD7 4DG and pay your membership fees by one of the following methods:
- Pay by standing order.
It is possible to set up a standing order, which means that your BEG membership would come out of your account automatically each year, until you tell the bank to stop. To do this…
- Pay by bank transfer.
If using this method of payment, please remember to include your name and "MEMBERSHIP" in the reference, otherwise you run the risk of your membership not being counted!
